WHO IS YOUR PHILISTINE?

Pastor Watson preached a few weeks ago about the young shepherd David going up against the Philistine Goliath, "a man of war since his youth". Pastor taught from 1 Samuel 17:32-37 and I encourage you to read that scripture. David says he rescued his sheep from the jaws of lions and bears and Goliath was no less of a challenge. He had the COURAGE to believe that the same God that kept him safe from those animals would protect him from this Philistine.

And so my question, WHO IS YOUR PHILISTINE? WHO are you fearful of approaching? WHO in your mind is keeping you from the next level? WHO is holding you down? Where is the COURAGE you had to get you where you are today? WHO kept you and is still keeping you? David knew WHO was on his side and I suggest you take a look at WHO is holding you up. You have conquered before and you can again. David didn't focus on the situation nor his limitations.
He focused on what he knew.....God had his back and He has your back as well. Expect that you will defeat your Philistine!!
