LISTENING TO THE SILENCE
What does it mean to be silent for an extended period of time? Does being silent simply mean not talking? How does one prepare for the silence?
Make plans today to attend an all day Retreat at Richmond Hill on November 6th, 2010. You will be guided to find the safe space within in order to invite God in. You will have the opportunity to quietly read passages of scripture and listen for God to speak to you. You will spend two hours in total silence where you will read, reflect, respond and rest in God’s love.
Rita Ricks is a life coach and directed by God to develop this workshop. She was introduced to silence at Richmond Hill in 2009 and is a witness to the power of listening and the impact it has made on her life.
Minister Lisa Johnson-Coy is a skilled educator, workshop facilitator and minister of the Gospel. Lisa’s desire is to be used of God to serve as a wounded healer.
Beth Nichols is Director of Small Groups and lay ministry at third Presbyterian Church. Beth is seeking God’s will for her life and values the opportunity to help other women in their pursuit of God.
